The latest concept store in the north of the Netherlands marks the next milestone in DekaMarkt’s journey as Hollands’ oldest supermarket retailer. As they continue their expansion, we were invited to help provide customers with a notable step-change within the environment, whilst retaining the essence of the brand, and bringing to life a number of new offers and services.

The floral offer front of store set’s the benchmark for fresh, presenting a strong introduction to fruit and veg, with a clearly visible backdrop to fresh serviced counters.

Large scale graphic treatments create authenticity to support these offers, whilst lightboxes throughout the space provide beacons of information and interest.

The store launch also announced the brand’s new sign-off ‘Smakerlijk eten!’ which in essence means ‘enjoy your meal!’. This was brought to life in store across a number of touch-points from the welcome wall and trolley livery to checkout area and takeaway elements such as their bags for life using macro scale lifestyle graphics.

The concept rollout is underway at pace, with two more stores opening imminently and many more planned throughout 2023 and beyond… so watch this space!
