Live Well
For Less

 

To coincide with the launch of Sainsbury’s new brand expression ‘Live Well For Less’ we were asked to develop their new corporate typeface for all communications, including the brand expression. We  collaborated with several typographers and worked closely with the Sainsbury’s Design team to deliver Sainsbury’s Slab, a modern display serif.

The brand refresh created an opportunity to inject more personality into the brand. Working with their design team we developed the tone of voice, imagery and colour palette — which included updating the corporate orange. To summarise we created a ‘Bare Necessities’ quick reference guide for consistent onward application.
