The Lion & Antelope

Inspired by the traditional British pub and framed by an 11 metre gantry, The Lion & Antelope offers a variety of differing spaces and seating clusters that provide pace as well as privacy for the wide range of travellers using the concourse. Working with HMSHost, we created the name, branding and environment for this contemporary bar and restaurant in the heart of Manchester Airport’s bustling Terminal 3.

Brand Identity, Brand Communications, Interior Design

The open kitchen serving classic British pub grub creates a focal point for the space, allowing the food to take centre stage. Warmth and intimacy is created through the introduction of timber divisions, supported by a carefully considered range of materials and finishes including raw steel, fluted glass and hand glazed tiles. The additional Pork & Pickle deli provides an extended takeaway food offer for those travellers short on time.
